Broadway - Hidden Gems - A Cabaret

This exciting revue-style cabaret will showcase a stunning collection of songs from some of musical theatre's most beloved and underrated productions.

​

Rather than auditioning for a specific role, performers will be cast across the show based on their strengths, versatility, and suitability for a range of solo, duet, and ensemble numbers. During auditions, the Director and Creative Team will be considering which songs best suit each performer before finalising the cast.

​

Once cast, performers will receive their assigned music and are expected to learn and prepare material independently between rehearsals. While the production includes some group and harmony work, the majority of the show features featured solo and duet performances.

​

With a condensed rehearsal period, commitment and preparation are essential. We ask that cast members avoid rehearsal absences wherever possible and arrive each week with previously assigned material performance-ready. This allows rehearsals to focus on staging, storytelling, and creating a polished and dynamic production.

Have a dream song you'd love to perform? Be sure to include any song preferences in the designated section of your audition form. While preferences cannot be guaranteed, they will be taken into consideration during the casting process.

Auditions

Friday September 11th

7:30pm - 10:20pm

Limited spaces!

All auditionees must be 18 years of age on or before 1/11/2026

​

General Preparation:

​

All auditionees must prepare one of the songs from the below listed sheet music.

​

1.  Male Voice - If I sing

2. Male Vocie- Worlds Apart (please sing both parts and take the melody on the last section)

3. Female Voice- The story Goes on

4. Female Voice - Miss Byrd

Headshot & Audition form

​

Please come "Headshot Ready" we will be taking a head shot photo of all auditionees for a cast announcement should you be successful in being cast.

​

You will be required to fill in an audition form on the day or you can print it and bring it with you.​​​

​

Accompanist Provided:

We will provide an accompanist who will be familiar with these four songs.
